2020 Lever Action Rifle Class

Concealed Carry Course (CCW)
$150 (Includes Range Fees) / All Renewals $50
Upon completion, graduates will receive the training required to obtain a California, concealed carry weapon (CCW) good for use in 25 states. We provide both first time and renewal training/certification. Training hours vary from 4 hours (renewal) to 16 hours (initial) and depend on which jurisdiction the permit will be obtained. We are also authorized instructors for obtaining the State of Arizona non-resident, concealed weapons permit.
This course will cover the California and Federal laws concerning concealed weapons carry as well the legal definition of self defense and important issues relevant to carrying a concealed firearm. We will thoroughly discuss the moral aspects of CCW and review weapons selection, performance and nomenclature. You will have the opportunity to look at samples/selections of weapons, holsters, belts and items related to concealed carry. Upon completion of the classroom portion, we will proceed to the range where safety procedures will be covered and weapons qualifications will be completed.
We will provide firearms and ammunition to students who do not have their own pistols for the course. There is no charge for the pistol rental or ammunition usage. Students bringing their own pistols should bring a minimum of 100 rounds of factory condition ammunition.
Each graduate will receive a quality course completion certificate.
Tactical Pistol Training Course
$150 (Includes Range Fees)
Through this course, you will learn and utilize battle proven marksmanship and "fighting" pistol shooting techniques. We will discuss in depth, situation-based decision making and the legal aspects of using deadly force. You will be exposed to one-handed and two-handed shooting techniques along with shooting from behind cover and/or concealment as well as shooting from unconventional positions. Other topics covered will include shooting while moving, emergency reloading, malfunction clearing techniques, and engaging multiple targets.
The class is scheduled for eight hours and all instructors are seasoned law enforcement officers with real world and tactical shooting experience. Students a required to bring a quality pistol(s) with size appropriate holster(s), a minimum of three magazines per pistol, and magazine pouches to the course. You will need to bring a minimum of 300 rounds of quality ammunition. Centerfire pistols only. Preregistration required and those needing to renew their CCW permit can also take this course and will earn a CCW renewal certificate upon completion of the course.
Workplace Violence / Active Shooter Response Training

This course is provided to companies and schools of any size upon request. We will discuss site security as well as interior/exterior design to help minimize opportunities for perpetrators to access your location. We will provide training to management and staff members with regard to the "run-hide-fight" principle and cater each presentation to the specific location begin discussed.
The class normally takes approximately two hours to complete and is provided by utilizing a mixture of lecture, PowerPoint and group discussions. The instructors are nationally certified consultants and can provide a full site threat assessment and crime prevention through environmental design consultation upon request. There is no additional fee for this service.
NRA Basic Pistol
$179 (Includes Range Fees)
This course is 8-hours long and includes both classroom and range time learning to shoot revolvers and semi-automatic pistols. Students learn NRA’s rules for safe gun handling; pistol parts and operation; ammunition; shooting fundamentals; range rules; shooting from the bench rest position, and two handed standing positions; cleaning the pistol; and continued opportunities for skill development.
Students will receive the NRA Guide to the Basics of Pistol Shooting handbook, NRA Gun Safety Rules brochure, Winchester/NRA Marksmanship Qualification booklet, take a Basics of Pistol Shooting Student Examination, and course completion certificate.

We will schedule a customized private class for any of our listed courses or desired trainings, as long as there are a minimum of eight students. We can provide the course at either of our two locations or at a location of your choosing (contact us for property requirements).

Lever Action Rifle Course
Echo Whiskey Tactical is proud to bring a tactical lever action rifle course to you. As gun control laws are increasingly focused on the semi-automatic rifle platform, we would like to remind you that there is still a use for the lever action rifle. This was America’s original AR-15 rifle and covered the needs of Americans for self-defense, hunting and more.
This course is four hours long and will cover the different types of center-fire lever action rifles as well as the pros and cons of the respective design. We will also conduct a discussion regarding both centerfire pistol and rifle cartridges available for lever action carbines.
After a full safety briefing, students will demonstrate an understanding on the basics of their rifles and each student will check the zero on their rifle. We will shoot various shootings drills utilizing proven techniques and tactics. Friendly competitions may be included depending on student desire. Once the drills and shooting have concluded, each student will be issued a certificate of completion.
Students will need to bring the following equipment:
Center-fire lever action rifle in rifle or pistol caliber.
A minimum of 100 rounds of ammunition: lead target ammo is perfect, no need for expensive self defense ammo unless you want to run it through your gun to see if works.
If you have a center-fire pistol, revolver or semi-auto pistol please bring it along with an outside the waistband holster. This will be integrated into transition drills between a rifle and a pistol.
50 rounds of pistol target ammunition.
Attire should include comfortable clothes and closed toed shoes.
Eye and ear protection. (will be provided in needed at no additional cost)
Please bring any snacks, food or water you want as we have a refrigerator and ice chests.
Please bring sunscreen or rain gear dependent on the time of year.
Cost of the class is $100 per student (must be prepaid). Class will be limited to 6 students and will be filled on a first come first served basis. For private group trainings please contact us to determine the logistics of your group needs
