Workplace Violence / Active Shooter Response Training

This course is provided to schools, companies, non-profits, churches, and private institutions of any size upon request. We will discuss site security as well as interior/exterior design to help minimize opportunities for perpetrators to access your location. We will provide training to management and staff members with regard to the "run-hide-fight" principle and cater each presentation to the specific location where the training program is to take place. Our consultants hold certifications as instructors with International Crime Free Association, ALICE Active Shooter Preparedness Training, and with the US Department of Homeland Security. 

The class normally takes approximately two hours to complete and is provided by utilizing a mixture of lectures, PowerPoint, videos, and group discussions. The certified instructors are highly sought after and can provide a full site threat assessment and crime prevention through environmental design consultation upon request.

Concealed Carry Course (CCW)
Initials $150 (Includes Range Fees)
Renewals $50

Upon completion, graduates will receive the training required to obtain a California, carry concealed weapon (CCW) permit good for use in 25 states. We provide both first time and renewal training/certification. Training hours vary from 4 hours (renewal) up to 16 hours (initial) and depend on which jurisdiction the permit will be obtained. We are also authorized instructors for obtaining the State of Arizona non-resident, concealed weapons permit.
This course will cover the California and Federal laws concerning concealed weapons carry as well the legal definition of self-defense and important issues relevant to carrying a concealed firearm. We will thoroughly discuss the moral aspects of CCW and review weapons selection, performance, and nomenclature. You will have the opportunity to look at samples/selections of weapons, holsters, belts, and items related to concealed carry during the course. Upon completion of the classroom portion, we will proceed to the range where safety procedures will be covered and weapons qualifications will be completed.
California requires students to qualify with each firearm they would like listed on their permit. The standardized qualification course requires 20 rounds. We encourage students to bring a minimum of 100 rounds of factory condition ammunition to the class for each firearm they are qualifying with.
Each graduate will also receive a course completion certificate.

Tactical Pistol Training Course
$150 (Includes Range Fees)

Through this course, you will learn and utilize battle proven marksmanship and "fighting" pistol shooting techniques. We will discuss in depth, situation-based decision making and the legal aspects of using deadly force.  You will be exposed to one-handed and two-handed shooting techniques along with shooting from behind cover and/or concealment as well as shooting from unconventional positions. Other topics covered will include shooting while moving, emergency reloading,  malfunction clearing techniques, and engaging multiple targets.

The class is scheduled for eight hours and all instructors are seasoned law enforcement officers with real world and tactical shooting experience. Students a required to bring a quality pistol(s) with size appropriate holster(s), a minimum of three magazines per pistol, and magazine pouches to the course. You will need to bring a minimum of 300 rounds of quality ammunition. Centerfire pistols only.  Preregistration required and those needing to renew their CCW permit can also take this course and will earn a CCW renewal certificate upon completion of the course.

NRA Basic Pistol
$179 (Includes Range Fees)

This course is 8-hours long and includes both classroom and range time learning to shoot revolvers and semi-automatic pistols. Students learn NRA’s rules for safe gun handling; pistol parts and operation; ammunition; shooting fundamentals; range rules; shooting from the bench rest position, and two handed standing positions; cleaning the pistol; and continued opportunities for skill development.

Students will receive the NRA Guide to the Basics of Pistol Shooting handbook, NRA Gun Safety Rules brochure, Winchester/NRA Marksmanship Qualification booklet, take a Basics of Pistol Shooting Student Examination, and course completion certificate.

Private Firearms Courses

We will schedule a customized private class for any of our listed courses or desired trainings, as long as there are a minimum of 10 students. We can provide the course at either of our two locations or at a location of your choosing (contact us for property requirements).
