CCW CLASS GENERAL INFORMATION
We are excited to help you meet your CCW needs. Be sure to review the CCW requirements of the sheriff's office or police department of which you reside prior to class. If you have questions about the process, feel free to contact us.
LOCATION
Redding classes will be held at:
9880 Record Range Lane, Redding, CA
Directions from Placer Street: turn onto O'Conner Ave, left on Trailee Ln, left on Dillard Ln, then right onto Record Range Rd.
McCloud classes will be held at:
500 State Hwy 89, McCloud, CA
Classes offered at other locations will be posted as they are scheduled.
WHAT TO BRING

Class payment, if due

REDDING: We accept cash, credit/debit cards, or check

MCCLOUD: We accept cash, checks, and Venmo

SCPOA Liability Waiver (Redding only)

All weapons that will go on your CCW permit

Keep your weapons properly locked in your vehicle until instructed to bring them to the range

The holster or purse in which you will carry your weapon (if available)

20 rounds of ammunition for each weapon

You will be required to qualify each firearm, even for a renewal

Bring extra ammo if you think you may need it

You may bring a beverage and snack to the classroom. See the expected class schedule below.

Initial CCW 16 hours
7:45 - 8:00 am Arrival
8:00 - 12:00 pm Classroom Instruction
12:00 - 1:00 pm Lunch Break
1:00 - 5:00 pm Classroom Instruction
8:00am - 5:00 pm Firearms Qualification
Renewal CCW 8 hours
